RubberDucks 6, Senators 5

Bobby Bradley and Dorrsys Paulino each hit a two-run double and Joe Sever had an RBI ground out in a five-run eighth inning to rally the RubberDucks to an Eastern League win over the host Harrisburg Senators on Thursday.

The win kept the Ducks (66-70) alive for the final playoff spot. They are four games behind the Bowie Baysox heading into a four-game home series against the Erie SeaWolves beginning Friday .

The Ducks trailed 2-1 before their eighth-inning outburst. The Senators (59-77) scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth but could not complete the comeback as reliever Robbie Aviles pitched a perfect ninth to give the Ducks the win.

Starting pitcher Matt Esparaza allowed two runs on three hits and struck out one in six innings in the no-decision. Reliever Jacob Lee got the win and Aviles earned his second save of the season.

Bradley had three hits and Sever and Todd Hankins each had two hits for the Ducks. Taylor Murphy had an RBI single in seventh inning to give the Ducks their first run.
