SeaWolves 3,?RubberDucks 2

Austin Green hit a single to right field in the 13th inning to drive in Harold Castro with the game-winning run as the SeaWolves topped the RubberDucks on Wednesday in Erie, Pa.

The Ducks led 2-1 in the ninth before the SeaWolves tied it on Dominic Ficociello’s RBI single to force extra innings.

The SeaWolves (58-78) took a 1-0 lead in the third inning on Anthony Gose’s run-scoring single.

The Ducks (72-63) tied it in the fifth when Mike Papi hit a solo home run, his fourth of the season, and took the lead in the eighth when Eric Stamets hit a single to center field to score Joe Sever.

Papi also threw out the SeaWolves’ Mike Gerber at the plate from left field on Ficociello’s ninth-inning hit to keep the Ducks alive.

Adam Ravenelle (1-1) earned the win for the SeaWolves and Casey Weathers (0-3) took the loss for the Ducks.
