College football preview magazines are starting to hit the shelves, and Sporting News has some high praise for Ohio State players.

Senior guard Pat Elflein and junior middle linebacker Raekwon McMillan are touted as first-team All-Americans in the preview magazine. Junior quarterback J.T. Barrett and senior punter Cameron Johnston are on second team.

The Buckeyes are ranked by Sporting News as the No. 4 team in the nation, behind Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma. That ranking comes despite Ohio State losing 16 starters from last season.

"Urban Meyer is 50-4 and has won at least 12 games in each of his four years at OSU," Bell Bender writes in the magazine. "This machine in Columbus isn't stopping anytime soon."

The magazine projects Ohio State to make the College Football Playoff, but lose a first-round Peach Bowl game to Alabama.

Five Ohio State players are listed on the All-Big Ten team. Along with Barrett, Elflein, Johnston and McMillan, defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis is listed on all-conference first team.
