Nadal and Raonic?advance in Spain

Jacksonville Jaguars?release six players

•?The Jacksonville Jaguars waived six players, including running back Deji Karim.Also waived were linebackers JoJo Dickson, Stephen Franklin and Jammie Kirlew, defensive back Trumaine McBride and place-kicker Sam Swank.

•?The New York Giants signed linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka to a multiyear contract extension. Kiwanuka, 29, a seven-year veteran, was in 20 games last season.

Scholarships lost?at South Carolina

•?The NCAA stripped the University of South Carolina of six football scholarships over three years and put the school on three years of probation after athletes got rooms in an off-campus hotel for less than $15 a day. The school failed to monitor $59,000 of impermissible benefits.

Wisconsin extends?Bo Ryan’s contract
