Cavaliers forward LeBron James was named one of 10 nominees for the Seasonlong NBA Cares Community Assist Award presented by Kaiser Permanente.

The award honors an NBA player each month who best reflects the spirit of giving back to their community.

Fans may vote for their favorite seasonlong nominee via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #NBACommunityAssist and #PlayerFirstNameLastName (example: †#DavidRobinson).† The NBA and Kaiser Permanente donate $25,000 to the charity of the winnerís choice.

Voting began at noon Wednesday and concludes Sunday, May 6 at 11:59 p.m.† Other nominees include:† DeMarcus Cousins (New Orleans Pelicans); J.J.
