A three-part program to educate and enrich women entrepreneurs will begin next week and continue through September.

The Women’s Network of Northeast Ohio will host the “Empower! Women’s Entrepreneurship Mastery Program” beginning May 7. The three series are “Ready to Launch,” “Ultimate Strategic Planning” and “The Necessary Evil.”

The programs, underwritten by Hudson-based Burton D. Morgan Foundation, are designed to offer women who are interested in becoming entrepreneurs (or who already are) support and resources.

“Women want to help other women succeed,” said Kirsten Lino, president of the Women’s Network. “This amazing series will open a whole new world for women to have the courage to start their own business or to take their existing business to the next level.”

Each series will offer five weekly workshops. There also will be networking events and a closing retreat, which will culminate with attendees gaining the opportunity to pitch their businesses to various community organizations and potential business partners.

Workshops will be held at the Akron Global Business Accelerator on Thursdays. Networking events and the closing event will be at Fairlawn Country Club.

Costs vary on the program and whether the participant is a Women’s Network member or nonmember.
