Investigators are still sorting out the details of a Wednesday traffic crash that left two men dead and another seriously injured.

The amount of damage to both vehicles is so extensive, said Akron Police Lt. Rick Edwards that investigators have yet to determine which vehicle went left of center or even what direction they were heading on West Wilbeth Road.

Killed in the crash were Richard Ratliff, 34, of Akron, and Anthony Mook, 24, of Akron, who were riding in a 1984 Chevrolet Caprice.

Steven Hudson, 34, of Akron, was seriously injured. He was driving a 1980 Ford Bronco.

Edwards said it does appear speed might have played a role in the crash.
