A rally and fundraiser for the family of missing Akron resident Taylor Robinson will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday at The Community Fellowship Chapel.

The event, “Hope for Taylor,” is being hosted by MOMS [Mothers on a Mission] at the church located at 951 Virginia Ave.

Robinson, 19, has been missing for eight weeks. She was last seen by her mother on May 3 when she was dropped off at a Kipling Street home where Robinson worked as a private health care aide.

The FBI is assisting Akron police in the investigation.

Friday’s event is designed to raise public awareness of Robinson’s disappearance and raise money to help the family retain a private investigator.

The group welcomes all clergy, ministers of music, choirs, soloists to join them.
