Other interesting data on the 2015 report cards:
• Locally, school districts received fewer As and more Bs. Statewide there was little change.
•?Grades given for four-year graduation rates fluctuated far less than those for student performance.
•?No school district in Ohio improved a letter grade on the performance index, a measure of how the entire student body did on all state tests.
•?In the five-county area (Summit, Stark, Portage, Medina and Wayne), no As were given for performance index, though Aurora, Jackson and Hudson had received As the year before. There were also 20 less Bs and 20 more Cs.
• For value added, or yearly progress, area schools received four times more Fs.
•?Beachwood, Wyoming, Oakwood, Indian Hill, Solon and Ottawa — districts that rank in the top 10 statewide for highest valuation per pupil or household income — received the only As for performance.
•?Bettsville, a small school district of 150 students in Seneca County, which is south of Sandusky, received no report card, throwing the year-to-year comparison off by one.
