CUYAHOGA FALLS: The Summit Soil & Water Conservation District is accepting orders for tree seedlings and wildflower seeds for spring planting.
Available evergreens are Colorado blue spruce, Black Hills spruce and red and white pines.
Also available are new packets of flowering tree and shrubs, native hardwoods, nut trees and shade trees, plus pawpaw and persimmons.
Each package contains about 25 seedlings. The price ranges from $10 to $22 per packet.
Two wildflower packets are available: a 1-ounce packet of Northeast annual and perennial wildflower seeds for $3 and a 1-ounce packet of showy Northeast native wildflowers and grass for $5.
Rain barrels holding up to 55 gallons are also available. The price is $80. Connecting barrels are available for $50.
The deadline for orders is March 30. Orders must be picked up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 13.
