Catholic Diocese of Youngstown Bishop George V. Murry will dedicate the new St. Andrew's House of Vocation Discernment on April 14 at Walsh University, 2020 E. Maple St., North Canton.
Located in La Mennais Hall, the house will be for men contemplating the priesthood beginning in the 2012-2013 school year. An on-site priest will serve as the formation director for residents of the house, who will be students at Walsh.
The special blessing by Murry will take place after an 11 a.m. prayer service in Our Lady of Perpetual Help University Chapel. The diocese and university will host an open house at St. Andrew’s after the blessing. The open house ends at 3 p.m.
