City play: The Akron-centric play "Rebranding the City" will be performed at the Akron Art Museum's Bud and Susie Rogers Garden at 6:30 p.m. The play was derived from a listening tour of Akron's 24 neighborhoods. It tackles topics from poverty to dating to racism to substance abuse. The museum is at 1 S. High St.

Concert plans: The UA Symphony Orchestra will perform at the First Congregational Church, 292 E. Market St., in Akron at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature Mozart's "Don Giovanni Overture," Ravel's "Mother Goose Suite," Tchaikovsky's "Romeo and Juliet," and Simon's "Dawn." The concert is free.
