2. All that jazz: The University of Akron’s JazzFest features pianist David Thompson playing two concerts at E.J. Thomas Hall: with the UA Faculty Jazz Combo at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and 7:30 p.m. Friday with the Student Big Band.
