Katherine Goldschmidt Crazy Creek cabernet is another one of those wines that you can't have too much of in your wine rack. Alexander Valley fruit gives you tremendous bang for your "bunch." If this cab was from Napa, it would be $50, easily. A few sips and it had me saying, "I can't believe this is only $19.99!"

I decided to try it with Stow Pizza Palooza winner Altieri's Pizza. The Goldschmidt was "crazy" good with their pizza margharita and deluxe pizza. (My deluxe came without anchovies.) The margharita featured a generous amount of garlic, but it didn't overpower the blackberry and black cherry flavors of the wine. Great with brie topped with cherry spread, too. The real pièce de résistance was pairing this luscious wine with a bite of Dove chocolate.

Buy this wine at Market District Cuyahoga Falls and Green, Mustard Seed Market Montrose, and Acme #1. Papa Joe's and Heinen's Brecksville will have it starting Friday.
