1. Get cultured: It’s First Friday, which means arts, cultural and family activities in several area communities. Kent’s Art Walk runs from 4 to 7 p.m. in galleries around downtown (mainstreetkent.org/events/art-walk/). Wadsworth’s First Friday, from 5 to 9 p.m., has a superhero theme (facebook.com/MainStreetWadsworth/). Canton’s runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and the theme is “Locally Literate,” including author appearances and a showing of “Where the Wild Things Are” at the Palace (facebook.com/CantonFirstFriday/).

 

2. Ballet in Cleveland: The Cleveland Ballet presents “Coppelia” at 8 p.m. Friday and 1 and 7 p.m. Saturday at Playhouse Square’s Ohio Theatre. 4. Ride the Crazy Train: The Land of Ozz, a tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, will rock the Akron Civic Theatre at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 at www.akroncivic.com.
