The Ohio Department of Transportation on Monday is starting the first phase of its state Route 8 reconstruction project with work in the northbound lane near Graham Road in Stow.
The work will involve milling and resurfacing the freeway shoulder and other spot repairs. Temporary lane closure are expected.
The entire $48 million, four-year project includes replacing nearly six miles of pavement on state Route between Graham Road and state Route 303 in northern Summit County. The project is expected to be completed by late July 2022.
