Wrecking Crew Brew Works is ready for its debut.

The new Medina nanobrewery will celebrate the release of its first beer Oct. 13 at P.J. Marley's Restaurant and Pub, 119 Public Square, Medina. Velociraptor Hood Ornament will be available all day for $3.99 a pint.

Co-founders Ryan Primiano, Bob Vokac and Greg Supik will be at the bar from 6 to 9 p.m. to talk about their brewery and beer. Velociraptor is a West Coast-style IPA and 7 percent alcohol by volume.

"We're excited," Primiano said about the brewery's debut. "Now it's even more work."

Wrecking Crew is a small brewery operating out a garage on West Friendship Street in a residential area. There's no tasting room. That's why the celebration is at P.J. Marley's.

The brewery is talking with other local restaurants and bars about carrying its beer. Wrecking Crew will focus on producing Velociraptor for now because of its size, Primiano said.

The brewery hopes to offer some other styles in the future, including a Christmas beer in 22-ounce bottles, he said.
