50th birthday festivities
Will Smith successfully bungee jumped from a helicopter near the Grand Canyon for his 50th birthday.
The actor took the leap Tuesday in northern Arizona in front of relatives and friends. He described the experience as going "from pure terror to absolute bliss."
The stunt was shown live on his YouTube channel. The stunt was billed as a leap "in the heart of the Grand Canyon," however, the actor was not jumping at Grand Canyon National Park but over a smaller gorge on the Navajo Nation.
'Southern Charm' star
arrested on assault charge
Authorities say reality show television star Thomas Ravenel has been arrested after a former nanny says he sexually assaulted her nearly four years ago.
Charleston (S.C.) police charged Ravenel on Tuesday with misdemeanor second-degree assault and battery.
Bravo released a statement shortly after saying Ravenel would no longer appear on "Southern Charm."
Numan concert canceled
after pedestrian killed
Police say a tour bus carrying British singer Gary Numan struck and killed a 91-year-old man in Cleveland.
Authorities say Numan's tour bus was making a right turn when it struck the victim as he walked in a crosswalk Monday afternoon. Numan said on Twitter that he and his team "are all devastated by the fatal accident."
The singer had been scheduled to perform Monday night at the House of Blues Cleveland, which canceled the show. Numan is known for the 1979 hit "Cars."
