MEDINA — The Medina County Habitat for Humanity has bought the former Hawkins Market at 233 Lafayette Road for $800,000 at an auction, the Medina Gazette reports.

The nonprofit says it plans to move its ReStore and its Habitat offices to the site.

“We think it’s the right size building and the right location. We wanted to stay in the downtown area in Medina and this is perfect for us," Habitat board President Bill Hutson told the Gazette.
