ALLIANCE — Fire officials continue to investigate a vacant home damaged Wednesday night by arson.

Fire inspector Guy Aumend said crews received the alarm shortly after 11 p.m., sending them to 615 Waugh St.

The fire appeared to be intentionally set at one upstairs and two downstairs locations, he said, adding the home owned by Joe Brady and Leah Scavuzzo was not insured. He said it also didn’t have utilities.

The estimated loss is $400. A sign has been posted asking the public for information about the blaze. Aumend asks that tips be phoned to either 330-821-9140 or 330-821-4716.
