Akron firefighters are investigating the cause of house fire early Friday morning in the city's Middlebury neighborhood.

Authorities responded at 12:18 a.m. to 230 N. Arlington St. and found the structure fully engulfed. No injuries were reported and no one was at the home at the time, fire spokeswoman Lt. Sierjie Lash said.

"It was a pretty involved fire," she said.

The home may have been vacant, she said.

The two-story colonial was built in 1912 and is owned by Tirey Christian, according to Summit County property records. It also was certified as tax delinquent in 2015.

The Akron fire union shared a video of the blaze on Twitter.
