JACKSON TWP. A Plain Township man and a township man had several bags of meth, a scale, syringes and other drug-related items when police pulled them over.

Vincent A. Oconnor, 24, of 4814 Harmont Ave. NE in Plain Township, and Steven A. Fedorovich, 28, of 7155 Frank Ave. NW, were arrested at 12:34 a.m. Saturday at Dressler Road and Strip Avenue NW, Stark County Jail records show.

According to the jail records, the men had 10.37 grams of crystal meth in small bags, a scale containing residue, nearly a gram of marijuana, six cut straws used to ingest illegal drugs, four glass smoking pipes containing the residue of illegal drugs and two syringes.

Each was jailed on charges of aggravated drug trafficking, aggravated drug possession, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of controlled substances and marijuana paraphernalia possession.

Oconnor who had been driving, was additionally cited for the marked lanes violation.

Both men were held in jail Sunday in lieu of $50,750 bond apiece, each pending Massillon Municipal Court hearings.
