Hop Tree Brewing in Hudson will celebrate its one-year anniversary this weekend, kicking off four days of special beer releases and giveaways today. (Dec. 27)
"Our first year has been amazing," co-founder Greg McClymont said. "We've met so many great people throughout the year both here at the Hop Tree taproom and out at different events. Our guests, friends, family and staff have all helped make our dream come true. The part we've enjoyed the most is getting to talk to people firsthand and hear their feedback when they come in and check out the beers and the food here at our taproom. We love to hear about all of their beer tasting and brewery experiences as they explore the local craft beer scene.
"Next year we're going to continue to offer a rotational variety of beers and look forward to getting into more weekly beer and food specials. Also stay tuned for more seasonal beer releases."
Here's a rundown of the anniversary celebration:
• Thursday: Customer Appreciation Day. The first 100 people to buy a pint get to keep a commemorative glass. The brewery also will release Full-Nelson IPA, a beer made with Nelson Sauvin hops.
• Friday: The brewery will offer an eight-ounce souvenir tasting mug to keep, with the purchase of three pours for $6.
• Saturday: The first 100 people to buy a pint will receive a sticker and a can koozie. The brewery also will tap its Pulp-Free Pale Ale.
• Sunday: The brewery will release Randall Mint Chocolate Milk Stout Infusion, its Pillow Mint Stout put through an infuser with cocoa nibs.
