The Interfaith Social Justice Collaborative Committee's Martin Luther King Jr. Day prayer service scheduled for Sunday in Akron has been rescheduled for 5 p.m. Monday because of the winter storm.

The interfaith service will take place at New Hope Baptist Church, 1706 S. Hawkins Ave.

The event will feature Kent State University Dean of Students Lamar Hylton, choir members from several faith communities, a mime ministry from New Hope, recitations by children from participating congregations, a saxophone solo by Ashton Blake and African drumming led by David Coleman.
