MEDINA — The United Way of Medina County will no longer offer a jobs program because of low unemployment in the county, the Medina Gazette reports.
“The fact is the unemployment rate in Medina County has come way down," United Way CEO Cheryl Parzych told the newspaper. "That’s a good thing for the county.”
The county's latest unemployment rate is 4.2 percent. The Employing Medina County program began in 2015.
