Village of St. Edward

Wadsworth site debuts

The nonprofit Village of St. Edward has opened a 106-unit senior living community in Wadsworth. It's the second location for the organization, which also has a Fairlawn facility.

The new site at 880 Main St. offers independent living, assisted living and memory care living arrangements and services.

Dollar General celebrates

store opening in Lake Twp.

Dollar General has opened a location at 13229 Cleveland Ave. NW in Lake Township.

The store will celebrate Saturday at 8 a.m. with free prizes and special deals. Additionally, the first 50 adult shoppers at the store will receive a $10 Dollar General gift card and the first 200 shoppers will receive a Dollar General tote bag with complimentary product samples.

Karcher Group acquires

Pole Position agency

The Karcher Group, a marketing and web design agency, has acquired Pole Position Marketing, a digital marketing agency headquartered in Lake Township, the company said in a news release.

PPM’s owner, Stoney deGeyter, has been named vice president of search and advertising.

“Teaming up with Stoney deGeyter and his expert team from PPM will no doubt give us the opportunity to continue advancing our existing search and [search engine optimization],” said Geoff Karcher, president of the Karcher Group.

Two-day seminar to focus

on building business brand

Americhem to expand

factory in Pennsylvania

Cuyahoga Falls-based Americhem, a designer and manufacturer of custom color masterbatch, functional additives, engineered compounds and performance technologies, announced in a news release that it is expanding its manufacturing capacity with a dedicated white room compounding space at its Morrisville, Pa.

Construction is planned to begin this summer.
