STOW — City police are promising additional traffic enforcement on Super Bowl Sunday to be on the lookout for drunken- and drugged-drivers.

"The Stow Police Department wants everyone to enjoy the Super Bowl with their friends and family, but encourages those who have been drinking alcohol to have a designated driver or call for a ride from a cab or other car service," police said in a news release.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Ohio Department of Public Safety have identified Super Bowl Sunday as having higher levels of alcohol-related crashes.
