Market Garden Brewery is Ohio's most underrated brewery — at least according to Thrillist.

The website put together a list of "The Most Underrated Brewery in Every State," concluding that the Cleveland brewery deserves the title for the Buckeye State.

It notes that Market Garden, which opened in 2012, is part of the Sam McNulty empire that includes a Market Garden brewpub and production brewery, Nano Brew Cleveland and Bier Markt all packed in the community's Ohio City neighborhood, also known as the cradle of craft brewing in Ohio thanks to being home of Great Lakes Brewing Co.

"The sprawling Market Garden brewery is the castle of this kingdom, and beer garden -- spitting distance from Great Lakes and the iconic West Side Market -- is often packed, with folks frothing for a taste of the diverse lineup, which includes a hoppy Citramax IPA, a massive Belgian Quad clocking in at 15%, an experimental sour IPA, and pretty much everything else you could imagine, or maybe didn't think to in the first place, like a barrel-aged pumpernickel rye," Andy Kryza writes. "It's the core of the neighborhood's continued evolution, ushering in what will sooner than later be considered among America's best beer cities."
