COVENTRY TWP. — Authorities have issued a warrant for one of three men accused of breaking into a Ponciana Drive home last month and announcing "Police!" during a robbery.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office and the Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force are looking for Paris Dean Timmons, 27, of Akron. Authorities said he was identified "through evidence found at the scene" and a first-degree aggravated robbery warrant has been issued.

The sheriff's office responded to the robbery Jan. 6 after a woman reported that three armed suspects kicked open the back door, broke windows and entered her house. They announced "Police!" as they entered and presented themselves as police officers, authorities said.

The woman fled out the front door. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the home.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Timmons or the identity of the other two suspects should contact the Summit County Sheriff’s Office at 330-643-2181 or the Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force at 866-4WANTED or text keyword WANTED and tip to 847411 (tip411).
