Five people plan to run for Stow Municipal Court clerk this November.

Bradford Chapman, Traci Cirullo and Jeff Iula, all of Cuyahoga Falls; Steve Stahl of Munroe Falls; and Amber Zibritosky of Stow filed petitions by the deadline at 4 p.m. Friday, according to the Summit County Board of Elections.

According to his Facebook page, Chapman is a University of Akron law student. Cirullo is bailiff for Stow Municipal Court Judge Lisa Coates. Iula is a Cuyahoga Falls at-large councilman and former . Stahl is a former police chief and city council president of Munroe Falls.

Zibritosky was previously the law director for the city of Stow. Democrats this week appointed her to fill the court clerk vacancy left after Diana Colavecchio resigned late last month to become community development director for the city of Cuyahoga Falls.

The candidates are running for an unexpired term that ends Dec. 31, 2021.
