President Donald Trump is coming to Ohio next week and will stop in Stark County to raise money for his re-election campaign.

The White House says the president will tour and deliver remarks at the Lima Army Tank Plant, the nation’s last remaining tank manufacturing facility. The Pentagon announced a $714 million order to upgrade the M1 Abrams tanks at the plant, which the president touts as hiring hundreds more workers.

The stop at what officially is known as the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center will “reaffirm the president’s commitment to the United States Military and the American worker,” according to the White House, the Lima News reported.

The last sitting president to tour the tank plant was George W. Bush on April 24, 2003, the newspaper reported.

Trump is set to stop in Jackson Township later Wednesday for a re-election fundraiser at Brookside Country Club, the White House confirmed to the Canton Repository. The fundraiser also will benefit the Republican National Committee.

Entry to the fundraiser starts at $2,800 for a reception and goes up to $70,000 for dinner tickets for a couple, the Repository reported.

Trump was in Ohio just before last November's election for a rally in Cleveland to tout candidates, including future Gov. Mike DeWine.
