WASHINGTON  President Donald Trump is coming to Ohio next week and will stop in Stark County to raise money for his re-election campaign. The White House says the president will tour and deliver remarks at the Lima Army Tank Plant, the nation's last remaining tank manufacturing facility. The Pentagon announced a $714 million order to upgrade the M1 Abrams tanks at the plant, which the president touts as hiring hundreds more workers.

Trump is set to stop in Jackson Township later Wednesday for a re-election fundraiser at Brookside Country Club, the White House confirmed to The Canton Repository Trump's stop in Stark County after the tank tour. The fundraiser also will benefit the Republican National Committee.

Cleveland.com reported among those in attendance at the fundraiser will be Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, RNC Finance Chairman and Chicago Cubs co-owner Todd Rickets, Ohio Republican Party Chairman Jane Timken and Cleveland-area businessman Jim Wert, the Trump campaign’s 2020 finance chairman in Ohio. Timken did not immediately return a message seeking comment.

According to the invitation, entry to the fundraiser at Brookside starts at $2,800 for a reception. A photo opportunity with Trump is $15,000, dinner is $50,000 per person or $70,000 per couple.
