Biker BrewHouse — the nation's first craft brewery inside a Harley-Davidson dealership — is expanding its lineup of bottled beers.

The Austintown Township brewery and tasting room has offered bottles on a limited basis in the past, but is now adding more brands to attract beer drinkers who want to pick up some to go or those who want to grab a six-pack at local retail markets.

"We get our beer and our brand out to more people that way," co-founder Larry Wilson said.

He noted that many people stop by the brewery, located along Interstate 80, as they are traveling through Ohio and they want to take some beer with them. Some would rather take a six-pack than a growler.

The Ball Bearing Blonde is available now, and Blue Balls, the blonde ale with blueberries, will soon follow. Hopster IPA and High Octane Coffee Stout also will be packaged in bottles.

The bottled beers will be available on a limited basis at the brewery and select local retailers such as Chalet Premier in North Lima and Lou's Beer & Wine Cellar in Austintown.

Biker will see how the bottle sales go as the brewery looks to purchase a larger bottling machine.

"We’re definitely looking to pick up the game," Wilson said.
