An East Liverpool man is facing drug charges after state troopers report they found more than two pounds of cocaine, worth $35,429, during a traffic stop last week in Summit County.
Antoine L. Moman, 44, is being held in Summit County jail on charges of possession and trafficking in cocaine, both of which are first-degree felonies.
On March 27, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol news release, troopers pulled over a 2018 Dodge Journey with a Pennsylvania license plate for a traffic violation. Officers smelt an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
Officers found the cocaine during a vehicle search, the release said.
If convicted, Moman could face up to 22 years in prison and up to a $40,000 fine.
