Three men were arrested after a bar fight Saturday in Sebring.

Sebring police say an arrest warrant will be issued for another man once he’s released from Aultman Hospital in Canton.

Sebring Detective Chad Redfern responded at 11 p.m. Saturday to a fight in Brick House Bar, 206 E. Ohio Ave.

Clint A. Higgins, 49, of 184 W. Oregon Ave. in Sebring, was charged with felonious assault, a second-degree felony, and assault, a first-degree misdemeanor. Mickey Ormiston Jr., 21, of 21225 Lake Park Blvd. in Smith Township, was charged with aggravated assault, a fourth-degree felony, and felonious assault, a second-degree felony. Mickey Ormiston Sr., 40, of the same Lake Park Boulevard address, was charged with assault, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Redfern reported that when he arrived, he found Eugene D. Ferguson Jr. of Beloit sitting on a bar stool with a severe laceration on the left side of his head. Ferguson said he was assaulted and pointed at two men. Redfern went to speak with Mickey Ormiston Sr. and Mickey Ormiston Jr., and Redfern reported that Mickey Ormiston Sr. “was extremely hostile in nature.”

Ferguson was taken to the Aultman Hospital Trauma Center in Canton. Sebring police said they’ll arrest Ferguson when he’s released from the hospital on a charge of assault, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Redfern said he watched Ferguson push over a female and leap over and punch Mickey Ormiston Jr. in the face on a surveillance video. The two got into a fight that was broken up. However, after that fight, Redfern reported that Clint Higgins punched Ferguson in the back of the head, causing him to fall over a chair.

The report stated Ferguson attempted to get up but couldn’t. Redfern reported that Ormiston Jr. picked up a bar chair and bashed Ferguson in the head several times.

The men are in custody in the Mahoning County Jail, and will have a court appearance Thursday in Mahoning County Court No. 3.
