British royal couple set
record on Instagram
Pay no attention to Hollywood stars or pop idols. When it comes to Instagram, it seems no one can match the allure of a youthful royal couple expecting their first child.
Guinness World Records said Wednesday that a new Instagram account opened by Prince Harry and his wife Meghan is the fastest-ever to gain 1 million followers.
The account, which was opened Tuesday, reached the 1 million mark in under six hours, easily beating a record held by Korean pop sensation Kang Daniel. It had grown to 3.1 million as of Wednesday evening, and can be found at @sussexroyal .
Car crashes into gate
at Taylor Swift's home
A stolen car crashed into the gates of Taylor Swift's beachfront home in Rhode Island following a police chase, police said.
The singer was not home, though police do plan to ask for surveillance video from her property to help the investigation, Westerly Police Chief Shawn Lacey said Wednesday.
The chase started around 1 a.m. Tuesday when a Hopkinton officer on patrol noticed the car had no license plates and tried to pull it over, Lacey told The Sun of Westerly. The pursuit, which reached speeds of 65 mph, crossed into Westerly, where Swift has a home.
Bernie Sanders to appear
on Fox News town hall
Fox News Channel says that Sen. Bernie Sanders will appear on a televised town hall on April 15, making him the first Democratic candidate to venture onto Fox for this type of event in the current presidential cycle.
It's an important booking for Fox, after the Democratic National Committee announced last month that it would not hold any of its presidential debates on the network. The committee said it was concerned about whether Fox could hold a fair and neutral event.
Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum will co-anchor the town hall, which will be held in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
