Severe storms that quickly passed through Northeast Ohio caused power outages in several cities Sunday.
FirstEnergy reported more than 9,000 homes were without power in Summit, Stark and Portage counties as of 10 p.m.
Hardest-hit in Summit County was Green, which reported more than 2,000 of the county's nearly 3,200 electrical outages, according to the company's website.
More than 4,000 sites in Portage County experienced outages, with the largest concentration in Rootstown and Ravenna townships.
About 1,800 also occurred in Stark County, with the bulk of outages in Jackson and Lake townships.
The website did not say when FirstEnergy expected power to be restored.
