Fat Head's Brewery is hosting a painting fundraiser to support the Cleveland chapter of A Special Wish Foundation.

The Middleburg Heights brewery will hold "The Bob Ross Experience" from 7 to 9 p.m. May 10, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the nonprofit, which grants wishes for children with life-threatening diseases.

Bob Ross, who died in 1995, was a painter who hosted "The Joy of Painting" instructional painting show on PBS. He's known for his afro hair style and soft-spoken approach to instruction.

“Honoring Bob Ross through this unique fundraiser is such a fun way to raise money to help grant wishes in our community,” A Special Wish Foundation Executive Director Eileen Lane said in a prepared statement.

Participants are asked to dress like Ross for the event.

Tickets are $45 plus a handling fee. The price includes paint supplies, a canvas, one drink ticket and a Bob Ross wig. To buy tickets, click here.
