Brewmania is taking over Cincinnati in October with a three-day celebration of the Queen City's craft beer industry.

“Many people know about Cincinnati’s proud brewing heritage,” co-founder Bill Donabedian said in a prepared statement. “We thought it was time to shed some light on the incredible craft beer being brewed in the region today.”

Brewmania will take place Oct. 1-3 at various locations:

• Oct. 1: Brewmania attendees will begin their journey at 5 p.m. at Taft's Ale House for a flight and food. They then will go on a brewery tour of the Over The Rhine neighborhood and will end up at the Moerlein Malt House Taproom for beer samples and snacks. There will be an after party at 10 p.m. at the Yard House.

• Oct. 2: A Tasting & Tunes event featuring a dozen breweries will be held at 5 p.m. at Fountain Square. The event will include food and live music by Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, The Bottle Rockets, and 500 Miles to Memphis. The concert is free and open to the public. The after party will begin at 10 p.m. at Moerlein Lager House.

• Oct. 3: A sampling event will be held at 5 p.m. at Rhinegeist Brewery. An after party will take place at Taste of Belgium at the Banks.
