Sara Brooks, Norton City, Norton Elementary School, first grade

Mrs. Brooks' consistent approach to instruction and classroom management lead to a high percentage of students meeting their growth targets and goals. Mrs. Brooks makes strong connections with students and challenges all students no matter what ability level.

Stephen Reinhardt, Norton City, Norton High School, language arts

Mr. Reinhardt is a phenomenal teacher who is beloved by his students, but at the same time, he has high expectations and really pushes them to excel. He's a creative, student-driven teacher we are lucky to have at Norton High School.

Erin Manderine, Woodridge Local, Woodridge Elementary School, English language arts, math and social studies, grades 3-5

Erin has embraced a new role this year and has put tremendous effort into building relationships with her students. She never says "no" to any teacher seeking her assistance in the school and is a wonderful collaborator.

Leah Norris, Woodridge Local, Woodridge High School, family and consumer sciences

Leah is a valued member of our staff and she exemplifies what an accomplished teacher should aspire to be. Our students and staff respect Leah, and WHS students recognize her passion for teaching and how she genuinely cares about them.

Jeff Hildebrand, Hudson City, Hudson Middle School, social studies

Students always have something positive to share about Mr. Hildebrand. When he was recently recognized for our Staff Member Making a Difference, a student who nominated him shared how he always makes his students feel special and valued during his class. He's one of those teachers who are able to create meaningful classroom experiences that stem much farther than the classroom walls. In addition to the impact he has on our students and staff at HMS, he is often seen on the sidelines as a middle school and high school coach (football, basketball and track).

Wendi Liebmann, Springfield Local, Young Elementary, second grade

Mrs. Liebmann has been a second-grade teacher for 27 years, and all of those years have been spent at Young Elementary School. She meets the needs of each child individually and never stops learning herself in order to keep up with the ever-changing needs of her students.

Manda Chumita, Springfield Local, Schrop Intermediate School, sixth-grade science and social studies

Mrs. Chumita is a teacher who is full of love for her students and uses her interest in the subjects she teaches to reach her students. She engages her students by using humor and respect to teach them.

Katie Frye, Tallmadge City, Munroe Elementary, special education

Katie teaches her students by providing them with real-life experiences like the Sunshine Cart that has her students selling treats and drinks to other teachers in the building. Katie is very dedicated not only to her students but to their families as well to make sure that every student in her class will be successful.

Kelly Mileti, Nordonia Hills City, Northfield Elementary School, first grade

Mrs. Kelly Mileti is a veteran teacher who continues to impress on a daily basis. Kelly coordinates the One School, One Book initiative, serves as a grade level representative, serves on our Building Leadership Team, and so many other committees. She is patient, kind, organized, loving and cheerful daily.
