CUYAHOGA FALLS — The city will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting for the Butterfly Garden at 5:15 p.m. Monday at High Bridge Glens Parks, 1817 Front St.

The event is open to the public. The Cuyahoga Falls Parks and Recreation Department will be presented with a certificate from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources stating that the garden has been awarded the designation of a demonstration site for its Project WILD School Sites program.

The Butterfly Garden was planted in September 2018 with a variety of native plants to attract and support the ecosystem of local butterflies and other pollinators. For more information about the garden, call 330-971-8225.
