Summit County Juvenile Court Judge Linda Tucci Teodosio has been chosen by her peers to serve as the next president of the Ohio State Bar Association (OSBA), the group announced in a news release Friday. As president-elect, she will serve as an officer of the OSBA beginning July 1 and assume the presidency in July 2020.

Her election will give the OSBA its first all-women officer panel this year when current President-Elect Eleana Drakatos assumes her role as president, serving along with OSBA CEO Mary Augsburger.

Teodosio has served as a Summit County juvenile court judge since 2003. And over the span of her 36 year career, she has worked as an attorney in private practice, a judicial attorney in a court of appeals and as municipal court judge and magistrate.

"I am honored and humbled to be elected President-Elect of the Ohio State Bar Association by my peers and look forward to working with Ohio lawyers and in service to my profession," Teodosio said.

"Linda has been a true leader and innovator in our profession and I know that the experience and perspective she brings will greatly benefit our members and our collective efforts to advance justice and the legal profession," said current OSBA President Robin Weaver. “I got to know Linda during her term on the OSBA Board and am confident she will be a great leader for this Association.”
