The Route 33 Brew Trail is back.

The passport program — launched last year by Visit Fairfield County — returns Saturday (June 15) and will showcase seven breweries, up from six last year. The participating breweries are: BrewDog in Canal Winchester, Brewery 33 in Logan, Combustion in Pickerington, Double Edge in Lancaster, Loose Rail in Canal Winchester, Outerbelt in Carroll and Rockmill in Lancaster.

The launch this year coincides with the grand opening of Outerbelt.

Organizers noted that 325 people completed the trail in its first year.

Just like other brewery trails, beer-drinkers stop in and get their passports stamped at each location. People who collect all the stamps can redeem the passport for an Anchor Hocking Route 33 Brew Trail pint glass at the Visit Fairfield County Visitor Center in downtown Lancaster or at Double Edge.

The first 100 people to complete Volume 2 will be entered to win a “Brewcation,” which includes an overnight stay at Lancaster’s Holiday Inn Express + Suites.
