Saucy Brew Works is ready to celebrate its two-year anniversary.
The Cleveland production brewery and pizzeria — which has been pretty busy in those two years, but more on that in a second — will host a party starting at 9 a.m. July 6. The event will feature the release of 10 beers, including two in cans and two in 375-milliliter bottles.
The two can releases are:
• Mango No. 5, a sour mango IPA with vanilla and lactose. It will be sold on draft and in 16-ounce four-packs.
• What's His Nuts?, a vanilla stout with peanut butter and coffee. It will be sold on draft and in 12-ounce four-packs.
The bottle releases are:
• Barrel-aged Period Paragraph, an imperial stout with dark maple syrup. It also will be available on draft.
• Barrel-aged What's His Nuts? It also will be available on draft.
There also will be an eclectic mix of other beers available on draft, co-founder and brewmaster Eric Anderson said.
"We'll have a good looking list that day," he said. "It'll probably be the best draft we've ever had up so it'll be a fun day to drink beer."
Saucy has been busy over the first two years. The brewery, located in Cleveland's Hingetown neighborhood, has produced about 85 different beers so far. It now distributes throughout Ohio and in North Carolina. The brewery also has opened a Saucy-themed bar at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland and has announced plans to open a brewpub in Columbus.
"We're having a lot of fun and I think we're making some great beer, too," Anderson said.
