Relax, pickle fans.

Urban Artifact Pickle, a dill pickle-flavored gose that has garnered a cult following, is hitting the market this week on draft and in 12-ounce cans.

"It’s definitely one of our most-talked about beers," said Scotty Hunter, co-founder of the Cincinnati brewery.

Urban Artifact, which specializes in sours, first produced the unusual beer as part of its special 12 Holiday Beers event in 2015. Some people enjoy putting a pickle ornament on a Christmas tree so a pickle gose makes perfect sense, right?

Beer drinkers enjoyed it so much that Urban Artifact brought it back again and again as a seasonal brew, growing production each time to satisfy demand.

The beer, which is 4.3 percent alcohol by volume, is designed to taste like a dill pickle.

Pickle, which is showcased in my book "50 Must-Try Craft Beers of Ohio," will be available wherever Urban Artifact beers are sold in Ohio, Indiana, northern Kentucky, Louisville, and eastern Tennessee.
