Well you did it.

You officially slogged your way through the fourth-wettest June ever in Akron-Canton.

The National Weather Service says its official rainfall tally for Akron-Canton was 8.31 inches for the month tying for the fourth spot in the record books.

The record keepers note that three of the Top 10 on record for the month have occurred within the last six years.

The all-time record for rainfall for the month was set in 1924 when 11.12 inches of rain fell. The normal expected rainfall for the entire month of June is 3.69 inches.

Weather records in Akron date back to 1887.

Although amounts varied by community and even neighborhoods, some communities saw as much as 5 inches of rain fall within a 72-hour period in June.

After a sunny start Monday, the chance of rain and storms is in the forecast every day through Sunday.

It will be warm and muggy, too.

The National Weather Service says it will be partly sunny on the Forth with a high near 90 with a 50 percent chance of rain.
