Warped Wing Brewing Co. has signed a deal with Ohio Eagle Distributing to oversee the Greater Cincinnati market.
The Dayton brewery — known for beers such as Trotwood Lager and Gamma Bomb IPA — has been self-distributing in the area.
"Partnering with Ohio Eagle allows us to focus on where our passion lies. And that is continuing to make great beer," Warped Wing co-founder Nick Bowman said in a prepared statement. “Finding the right distribution partner was a long, exhaustive search. But it was worth it. Ohio Eagle shares the same vision that we have. Ohio Eagle is even opening up Hamilton County as a new distribution footprint as a part of the launch.
"This is a big commitment and even further validation that we have the right partner to help us grow our brand in Southern Ohio. We are great neighbors with the people of Cincinnati. They have welcomed us into the community and we want to continue to build and nurture that relationship."
Ohio Eagle, located in West Chester, said it's excited to be partnering with Warped Wing.
“The Warped Wing brand represents the very best that Ohio has to offer," company President Devyn Dugger said in a prepared statement. "Their dedication to quality and community, along with their love for Dayton, is admirable.”
