There's a new burger joint in northern Summit County offering up a ButterBurger.

Culver's, a Wisconsin-based chain, now has two eateries in Northeast Ohio. The fast-casual chain boasts of its never frozen beef patties cooked to order with your choice of fresh toppings ranging from onions (grilled or raw) to bacon to mushrooms. You have your choice of three cheeses too, including American, cheddar and Swiss.

It is all topped with a buttered (thus the name) toasted bun. I ordered the single value basket and picked crinkle-cut fires along with the chain's signature root beer for $6.19. The cool thing is the variety of sides offered, ranging from mashed potatoes and gravy to coleslaw to seasoned green beans. You can pay a little extra and get soup or onion rings and even cheese curds. They also offer dinners including fish, shrimp, beef pot roast and chopped steak.

The place: Culver's of Macedonia, 8143 Golden Link Blvd.

Why you should go: A yummy burger along with hand-dipped ice cream and fresh frozen custard
