Saturday is “The Office Night” at the Canal Park ballpark in downtown Akron, as the RubberDucks celebrate the TV sitcom.

Bobblehead dolls, featuring the likeness of “The Office” character Kevin Malone, will be the evening’s give-away.

The RubberDucks play the Richmond Flying Squirrels at 7:05 p.m. as part of a home stand that runs through Sunday.

The bobble-head Kevin is holding a pot dripping with chili, an homage to a scene in the 2009 “Casual Friday” episode of the show.

Kevin drops a huge pot of chili on the Dunder Mifflin office carpet in the scene that has spawned T-shirts, memes and even Halloween costumes. Dunder Mifflin is the fictional paper sales company featured in the series.

Saturday’s festivities include an appearance by Leslie David Baker, who played Stanley Hudson on the show.

Also Saturday, a robot built by students in the engineering program at Firestone high school in Akron will throw out the first pitch.

Fireworks will follow Saturday's game, as well as the RubberDucks games tonight, Friday and Saturday.

The Indians' Carlos Carrasco continues his rehab stint tonight.

On Sunday, the RubberDucks will celebrate Women's Equality Day and 99 years of women's voting rights. Sunday also is FamilyFUNday at the ballpark. Attendees can play catch on the field and kids can run the bases before the game, which is scheduled to begin at 2:05 p.m.

Tickets for all RubberDucks games are available at www.milb.com/akron/tickets/single-game-tickets or at the Canal Park box office. Canal Park is at 300 S. Main St.

The RubberDucks are the AA affiliate of the Cleveland Indians and play in the Eastern League.
