COPLEY — The Ohio Department of Transportation is closing state Route 162, also known as Copley Road, just west of the Copley Circle for 14 days beginning Sept. 23 for construction.

The work is part of an ongoing $788,000 project to improve the intersection of Route 162 and Cleveland Massillon Road. The work includes installing an eastbound left turn lane on Route 162 and a southbound right turn lane on Cleveland Massillon.

The entire project is expected to be completed in May 2020.

ODOT recommended that motorists use state Route 21 as a detour while Route 162 is closed.
